Version 1.9.0 August 29, 2026

• The live matchup card can follow the game: tap the batter at the plate and the card now has a LIVE switch beside the close button. Turn it on and the card moves to the next batter by itself as the inning goes, so you can leave it open next to the TV and it keeps up. It starts off every time you open a card, so a card you are reading never changes on you. Once you turn it on it stays on for the rest of the game.
• The player card is wider on desktop and scrolls far less: the career record now sits on the left and gets the full height of the card, with the live matchup and the bio beside it on the right. A player with a long career used to sit almost entirely below the bottom of the screen. Max Scherzer's 19 seasons now fit with no scrolling at all. On phones the card works the way it always did.
• The pitcher in the matchup is styled like the batter above him: same logo, same city and club, same name treatment, just smaller. When the space is too narrow for the club name it drops out and the logo stays.
• Everything is bigger on a desktop screen: pages, tables and the scorecard all render about an eighth larger. If you would rather have it smaller, your browser zoom still works as usual.
• The scorecard sits closer to the broadcast: the delay that keeps the page from getting ahead of your TV is now 7.5 seconds instead of 15.
• No more faint grid lines: some lines on the scorecard and on the game thumbnails were thinner than a full pixel and washed out on screen. Every line is now at least a pixel thick.

• Standings columns fit the widest number they can ever show: a team on a 10-0 run over its last ten games has a wider L10 than the 5-5 records the columns were sized against, so it got cut off. The columns are now sized for the widest value each one can ever hold, including a 10-0 L10, a 1.000 winning percentage on opening weekend, and a four-digit runs total.

• Standings columns line up again: on the minor league standings, every division was its own table sizing its own columns, so W-L in one box sat somewhere else in the box below it. All the tables now share one set of column widths, and the columns run straight down the page. The Affiliate column and the longer club names both have room, so nothing is squeezed.
• No more cut-off numbers on smaller screens: at tablet width and just under, values like 43-119 and the HOME and AWAY headers were wider than the space given to them and got clipped. Every column is now sized from the widest thing it actually has to show, in the majors and the minors both. On phones the club and affiliate stay put while the stats scroll beside them.

• A "What's New" page: the version number in the footer now links here, so you can see everything that's changed. Every release since the site started is listed, newest first.
• Report a bug: a link sits next to the version in the footer on every page. It opens the contact form with the subject already filled in. If a play looks wrong on a scorecard, that's the fastest way to tell me.

• Long club names wrap properly on the games list: a name too wide for its card used to break onto a second line that started underneath the logo instead of lining up with the first. The name now sits in its own column beside the logo, so every line is flush however long the name runs. You saw this most in the minors, where names like New Hampshire Fisher Cats wrap as a matter of course.
• Handedness marks removed from the play cell: the mini strike zone used to show which side of the plate the batter stood on and which hand the pitcher threw with. It put the batter on the wrong side in at least some at-bats, so rather than show something you can't trust, both are gone. The strike zone now shows the zone and the pitch dots, which is what it was there for. The cell guide has been updated to match.

• Fixed a blank-looking ERA: a reliever who came in and gave up no earned runs used to show a game ERA of 0.00. Next to his real season ERA on the line above, it looked like the number hadn't loaded. It now shows a dash instead.
• Bigger team logo on phones: the logo in each scorecard header is larger on small screens, so it stands apart from the affiliate logo beside it.

• All-Star Game logos fixed: the American and National League teams now show their proper emblems in the team banner, the matchup comparison and the linescore. The header was also printing the league name twice. Both are fixed for good, since the All-Star team IDs stay the same every year.

• Season stats now show before first pitch: the MLB feed reports every player's season line as zeros until a game starts, so a scheduled game's lineup and bench read as a wall of 0s. Those numbers now come from each player's real season record, for the majors and the minors. Once the game starts, the live totals take over.

• Division standings on the game page: each team's section shows its own division standings, with that team's row tinted blue so you can see where they sit. On phones the box scrolls sideways for the full columns.
• Standings rollover is gray: hovering a row highlights it in gray, matching the rest of the site's tables. The team you're looking at stays blue.
• Redesigned pitcher card: tapping a pitcher opens a wider card with pitch diagrams that work in light and dark mode, plus a short bio and the date it was last updated.

• Matchup card for the hitter at the plate: during a live game, tapping the highlighted batter opens a matchup card instead of the usual player card. It shows the pitcher he's facing next to his record against that pitcher, year by year, plus a career line. The first time a batter faces a pitcher, it says so. Every other player still opens the regular card.
• Player card no longer clipped on phones: the card has more room at the bottom so its last rows clear the rounded screen corners.

• No-spoiler delay on live games: while a game is in progress the scorecard stays 15 seconds behind real time, so it doesn't get ahead of your broadcast. It happens automatically. Finished games have no delay. The delay follows the league's clock rather than your device's, so it stays accurate even if your computer's time is off.

• Full standings on phones: every column is now shown instead of just the basics. The team column stays put on the left while the stats scroll, and all six division tables scroll together so they stay lined up.

• Lineup names sized to match the roster tables: they were rendering noticeably smaller on wide screens.

On desktop the table uses the full width. On phones it trims to the essentials. Hovering a team highlights its whole row so you can follow one club across.
• Standings glossary: the Advanced Stats Reference now explains every standings column, including what the plus and minus values mean.
• Proper icons: a full set of favicons and app icons, so bookmarks, tabs and "Add to Home Screen" all show a crisp logo.
• Live auto-refresh pulled for now: it wasn't behaving properly and pages could refresh when you didn't expect it. Every page now stays put until you reload it. I'll rework this properly later.
